Hi, welcome to my website featuring my illustrations and paintings. I have several series showcased here that I did since 2008 to present.
The first were a series of still life watercolor paintings that I did in 2008. After quitting my job in the Philippines and moving to HK, I have been a full time mom to my first child, my dear daughter, Janna. With her, I started going back to my love of painting with my first favourite medium, waterolor.
The next was last 2014-2015, the buttcrack series. I started this concept of butt crack painting as a supposed Christmas gift for my fellow wifey friends in 2014. I imagined this to be placed in their toilet doors so they will be smiling when they are reminded of me. But upon doing several pieces, my hubby seemed to like it and told me to do several more and try to exhibit this as a whole series. The idea excited me, so here I present to you my butt crack series.
I wanted this series to have different characters and represented in different colours as I initially planned (gift to friends) that these will somehow have something in it that is representative of my friend’s features, characters or habits. I have also expanded this series to include familiar movie characters or events because I wanted it to have a wide range of colors.
And now, my most recent series is entitled “Death by Dessert”. I experimented with a textured acrylic painting using several mediums to give it an embossed effect. The ants were made with clay, I enjoyed doing these cute little thing. I hope to feature these my first ever exhibit together with my husband and a group of friends here in HK.
